The Lord’s Benefit Plan

In the workforce, employees are offered a benefit package for working with their organizaiton. Usually the benefit package includes dental care, vision care, physician services, pharmaceutical services, etc. The benefit package is offered to you, your dependents and spouse (if applicable). These benefits packages are to cover you for preventative services and in the event you have an illness, accident that requires medical services. Without the benefit plan, you are left uncovered, untreated medical conditions, etc. However, the plan is not free and you have to pay into it monthly. There are other benefit plans such as Medicaid and Medicare for individuals that meet certain criteria to be covered. There have been much debate regarding the Affordable Care Act to ensure that every American without insurance is covered. Usually during the enrollment process we take time out to read about the the difference plans and their prices to make a selection. But did you know that the Lord has a benefit plan? His plan has been paid for by Jesus and it is free. There are no deductibles, hidden clauses. Everyone is covered, whether they know it not and whether they accept it or not. There is not even an enrollement period. Psalms 103 discusses the Lord’s Benefits: Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all his Benefits:
1. Who forgives all your iniquities.
2. Who heals all your disease.
3. Who redeems your life from destruction.
4. Who crowns you will loving kindness and tender mercies.
5. Who satisfies your mouth with good things.
6. Your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
7. The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.

His plan is the best! He forgives, heals, redeems, crowns, satisfies, renews and executes. His benefits are endless.
